Plot Scars of War - Kriegsnarben sind tief (2007):
Die beiden Soldaten Mark und Shane dienen für die britische Armee im Irak. Es ist für die beiden nicht einfach, und als ihr Vorgesetzter bei einem Attentat getötet wird, laufen die Dinge aus dem Ruder. Es kommt zur Rache der Soldaten an deren Ende ein zu Tode geprügelter Iraker aus dem Gefängnis getragen wird. Was wirklich dort geschah, wird erst später deutlich, denn jetzt springt der Film nach England. Die beiden Soldaten sind zurück und Gulliver zeigt seiner Freundin Shelley Fotos davon. Als er sie betrügt. Kommt Shelley auf die Idee, diese Fotos ihres Freundes der Polizei zu übergeben. Damit bringt sie eine Lawine ins Rollen und ihren Freund vor das Militärgericht. Dem Militär ist natürlich an einem raschen Prozessende gelegen. Die Öffentlichkeit soll beruhigt werden und so stempelt man die beiden als Schuldige, als Einzelfälle ab. Was allein zählt, ist das Herunterspielen des Skandals, der Ruf der Armee darf keinen Schaden nehmen.
